Refund Policy
The Dance Base
Effective as of May 1st, 2025

At The Dance Base, we are committed to providing high-quality dance education and experiences. To ensure clarity and fairness for all families, the following refund policy applies to all tuition, fees, and related payments.



1. Registration Fees
   •    All registration fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full at the time of enrollment to secure your dancer’s place in class.

2. Tuition Payments
   •    Tuition is due according to the payment schedule selected at enrollment (monthly, termly, or annually).
   •    Tuition is non-refundable, including in cases of missed classes, schedule changes, or early withdrawal.
   •    In the event of prolonged injury or illness (with a medical note), credit toward future classes may be considered at the studio’s discretion.

3. Missed Classes
   •    No refunds or credits are provided for missed classes. Make-up classes may be offered when available but are not guaranteed.

4. Costume and Competition Fees
   •    Costume and competition fees are non-refundable once payments have been made or orders submitted.
   •    If a student withdraws after committing to a competition, all fees already paid will be forfeited.

5. Cancelled Classes or Programs
   •    If a class or program is cancelled by The Dance Base due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or studio credit will be offered.

6. Special Circumstances
   •    In exceptional cases (e.g., relocation, medical issues), refund requests may be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval is not guaranteed.
